Next time you get a bundle of herbs from the store, don\u2019t wait for them to spoil\u2014freeze them instead!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wash and dry your herbs first, then store them depending on their type:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hardier herbs<\/strong> (rosemary, dill, thyme, bay, sage): Freeze in an air-tight container.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tender herbs<\/strong> (cilantro and parsley): Chop and place in an ice-cube tray. Fill the tray with water and freeze, then transfer to an air-tight container when frozen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For recipes that use oil<\/strong> (soups, stews, sauces, roasts): Follow the above ice-cube tray method, using oil instead of water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be sure to label your herbs before storing them.
