A Message from Our Friends at Group for the East End

Protect Southampton’s Water and Community Planning. For over 50 years, nonconforming sand mines have operated in residentially-zoned areas of Southampton, threatening our environment and water supply. A new local law proposes phasing out these sand mines through a process called amortization, aligning zoning laws with the town’s comprehensive plan.
